The majority of new installations utilize Cat6 cabling for horizontal cabling to the station although more and more are transitioning to Cat 7 wires. Cat 7 and Cat6 cabling improves upon the performance of Cat5e, providing performance up to up to 1 gigabit per second (Gbps) supporting communications at more than twice the speed of CAT5e.
Fiber-optic cabling systems are becoming more prevalent in business setting many being deployed in the data center for mission-critical applications. Fiber-optic connectivity deployment methods are becoming increasingly popular, offering higher reliability than traditional Cat 5e/6/7 field-installed methods. These solutions provide a compact cabling footprint, as many fibers can be consolidated into a single, pre-terminated cabling element.
Shielded Twisted Pair (STP)
Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cabling is suited for deployment in electrically noisy environments where EMI interference is problematic to the delicate electromagnetic requirements of UTP cabling.
Telephone cabling installation services including backbone telephone cable splicing, Demarc extensions, troubleshooting and repair.
Take advantage of the fastest high-speed Internet using wired Ethernet connections throughout your home. These connections can provide speeds 10x greater than current Wi-Fi connections. Nothing beats a hard-wired connection for setup simplicity, reliability and speed.
In a household with multiple computers, a home network often becomes a necessity. If you have two or more computers in your home, a network can let you share files and documents, printers, scanners, and CD burners.
Wi-Fi Connectivity Throughout Your House
Wi-Fi connectivity in older or larger homes is hampered by the limited range of existing Wi-Fi routers. A simple solution is to use Ethernet ports throughout your home to extend the coverage via multiple wireless routers. This method is fast and reliable and can allow you to have Wi-Fi connectivity in even the most remote sectors of your home including the garage and gardens.
Television signals come into your home theater system from a cable TV service, a DSS satellite dish, or an antenna for broadcast TV (or in some cases, from a combination of these devices). Running wired infrastructures allow you to send these signals to other areas of your home giving you much higher data rates, more reliability, and more flexibility. In addition, this infrastructure can be utilized to add home surveillance and security systems such motion detectors and cameras.
Paging And Intercom Systems
If you are a primary caregiver for an elderly or disabled person in your home, paging and intercom systems allow calls in case of emergencies or when help is needed for everyday type of assistance (reaching things, help putting on clothes, etc). Wired infrastructures allow you to place intercoms throughout your house thus giving you piece of mind.
